Surface charge accumulation of post insulator: Dominant charge transition under different conditions

نویسندگان

چکیده

An insulator surface charge may be responsible for flashover along the surface. In this study, experimental investigations of post are performed using a variety voltage, gas type, and pressure conditions. Combining model transport, dominant transition is revealed considering partial discharge. The results show that hetero-polar accumulates near high voltage electrodes on at one atmospheric with an applied DC ranging from −10 to −60 kV. area ratio increases 23% 53%. It also generates reversed polarity charges. Under −20 kV, grounded electrode gradually becomes homo-polar charges decrease SF6 in 0.5 MPa SF6/N2 mixtures. case, most pathway accumulation through insulation rather than insulator. For 20%SF6/80%N2 mixtures, speckles appear plate when mixtures decreases 0.1 MPa. This means discharge occurs side under lower pressure. Refer presenting findings, insulators provided as important reference.

High Resolution Measurements of Surface Charge Densities on Insulator Surfaces

The uses and limitations of the electrostatic probe for the measurement of charge densities on insulating surfaces are discussed. A development of the technique is described in which two important limitations have together been overcome: (i) The effects on the probe signal of charges on all points of the surface have been taken into account by means of a matrix inversion procedure. (ii) A robot...

Depletion of surface accumulation charge in InN by anodic oxidation

Si-doped InN layer by molecular beam epitaxy was subjected to anodic oxidation in 0.1 M potassium hydroxide KOH electrolyte and characterized by electrochemical methods to derive carrier profile at the InN surface. The obtained results were compared to the characteristics of a planar resistor structure and vertical metal-oxide-semiconductor MOS diodes with Ni-metal contacts on the oxidized InN....

Surface electron accumulation and the charge neutrality level in In2O3.

High-resolution x-ray photoemission spectroscopy, infrared reflectivity and Hall effect measurements, combined with surface space-charge calculations, are used to show that electron accumulation occurs at the surface of undoped single-crystalline In2O3. From a combination of measurements performed on undoped and heavily Sn-doped samples, the charge neutrality level is shown to lie approximately...
